Spring-Summer nature

Among five season we have, love the spring and summer as these season bring so much vibrant colours of nature due to many flowers in bloom, birds and many wildlife becomes so active to start their new generation.

Flowers decorates the streets, forests and mountain with so diverse and beautiful blooms. Rhododendrons are among the most vibrants with beautiful contrast of green forest and surrounding.

Though this year has not been exactly what we expected due to very dry season due to lack of rainfall. However, nature comes back to its usual perfection in time, delayed but surely.

Visiting and exploring forest, birding solo, with friends or my clients, that I did from the Feb till April regularly was just amazing. Enjoyed seeing, hearing and showing to others were so rewarding experience. Summer visitors, nesting to fledglings their young ones is so delightful and meditating, that I enjoyed every moments. Many birds still busy with their new family, taking care of their young ones.

Most visits were to Godawari and Phulchauki, my best and favorite location for birds and birding. Besides many other sites were Pharping, Sankhu, Ichhangu, Tokha, Boson and Machhegaon etc.

The highlights were Black-throated Parrotbill, Darjeeling Woodpecker, Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Pied and Tickell’s Thrush, Long-tailed Broadbill
